Overview

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Ohio provides one-to-one mentoring services for youth ages 7 through young adulthood through both community-based and school-based programs across Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Fayette, and Highland Counties. The organization matches adult volunteers ('Bigs') with children ('Littles') to create monitored mentoring relationships focused on building confidence, improving academic success, and avoiding risky behaviors, with a special school-based program that pairs high school students with elementary/middle school students in nine partner schools.
