Overview
Mayo Home for Youth Development (MHYD) provides residential group home services for young men ages 12-21 and outpatient counseling for all ages and genders. Group Home Services: Based in a non-institutional, home-like setting, MHYD provides a therapeutic environment, where clients receive a comprehensive arrangement of services which include but are not limited to; temporary shelter, clothing, food, educational planning, independent living skills, counseling and targeted programs designed to teach at-risk youth. Outpatient Counseling: Serving youth and adults with mental health therapy and substance use disorder treatment. Once treatment needs are identified, clients can choose individual, group and/or family therapy sessions to participate in.
